Aadhaar is the world’s largest biometric ID system; a unique 12-digit identity number is issued to all the Indian residents according to the biometric and demographic data collected by the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). Aadhaar card can be used as a digital identity due to presence of the electronic card in PDF format, QR code, digital XML representation of some core details of the card, online validation facility and can be electronically updated by using a mobile phone number and/or email as the second factor of authentication, photo ID, 10 finger scan and eye scan all making it a digitally equipped. UIDAI have given a list of three document proofs to be required in order to enroll for Aadhaar card.
Types of documents required for Aadhar card are-
Proof of Date of Birth: These documents are essential to check the date of birth accuracy. The documents accepted under this head are

6)Mark sheet issued by Government University/Board
7)Central Government Health Service Scheme Photo Card

Proof of Address: These documents are required to ensure that you are residing at the address that you have provided also the aadhar card is sent to the same address. In case of a mistake in the address, you may fail to receive your card. The list of address proofs accepted are

Proof of Identity (POI): Identity proof is essential to ensure that you are who you claim to be as seen on documents issued by various government bodies.
